U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) clears imports into the United States. Imports pay import duty. The United States has no federal VAT.
- The United States ended its $800 duty-free rule in 2025. Low-value parcels from China now pay duty.
- Sea cargo needs an Importer Security Filing (ISF) at least 24 hours before the container loads.
Ask for DDP and we clear customs and pay the duty for you. Without DDP, you or your broker clear the goods, and we send the documents.
