About EMS
EMS is the express service of the postal network. China Post runs it in China, and the post office in the destination country delivers it.
When to use EMS
Use EMS for a parcel that is too heavy for a small packet and not urgent enough for a courier. The post office makes the delivery, so EMS reaches rural addresses and PO boxes.
We book EMS as part of our express shipping service. Door-to-door courier from China with DHL, FedEx, UPS, EMS, TNT or Aramex in 2 to 5 working days.
How it works
- 01
Your goods arrive at our Shenzhen warehouse. We count them and check them against your order.
- 02
We weigh, measure and pack the shipment, and we prepare the export papers.
- 03
We book EMS on our account and send you the tracking number.
Weight and price
The price uses the greater of the actual weight and the volume weight. Volume weight is length times width times height in centimetres, divided by 5000. Work it out with the volume weight calculator before you ask for a price.
Tracking
A postal tracking number has 13 characters: two letters, nine digits and a two-letter country code. An EMS number from China starts with E and ends with CN. See how to track a package from China.
