Australia Post has begun running free 90-minute training sessions on ecommerce for local businesses who are thinking about setting up an online shop front but are unsure how to go about it.
The sessions will include information on how Australia Post can help businesses
acquire customers, transact online and deliver products and services.
The Organisation will be harnessing their expertise gained from launching “My Shop in a Box” – an Australia Post initiative to get small businesses up and running with an all-in-one an off-the-shelf e-commerce store.
The sessions will conclude with a networking session where attendees will be able to ask questions and meet other like-minded local business owners.
“The session was really good, especially for small businesses,” said David Thom, from commercial aquatic specialists Ian Coombes Australia, who attended a recent Preston Business Hub session. “We have investigated taking up one of the direct mail / email offers presented at the session,” he added.
The next set of e-commerce sessions will take place this month. If you’re interested in attending one in your area, fill in the online contact form and Australia Post will contact you with the details of when an e-commerce session is being held in your area.
