24% of AliExpress's Russian users are based in Moscow

Dmitry Selihov, AliExpress's head of corporate development in Russia, said recently that 24 percent of AliExpress's Russian users are in Moscow and 12 percent in St. Petersburg.


Mr Selikhov points out that some Chinese goods on AliExpress are hard to find in Russia or cheaper than buying locally, as well as local merchants and fast delivery services.


Russia is AliExpress's largest market. Over the past year, AliExpress has continued to upgrade its logistics services in Russia. At present, 85% of Russia's orders do 15 days, the future will achieve Russia 10 days to reach more than 90% of the coverage.


In 2021, AliExpress will launch new logistics infrastructure in the Russian market, including the establishment of distribution center to improve the flexibility and efficiency of supply chain; Building overseas warehouses in 5 major regions: St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Krasnodar, Novosibirsk; Set up 8000+ self-pickup points, covering key cities in Russia.


At the same time, AliExpress will provide logistics solutions to sellers through final delivery insurance, final delivery subsidies, commission incentives and explosive subsidies.


The head of AliExpress Russia's national station recently said that AliExpress may invest more in the Russian market in 2021 than in the past five years combined.
