From the middle of July 2020, overseas warehouse feature is to be rolled out on Shopee Indonesia site, which is known as one-store-multiple-shipping feature.
The aim of this feature is to help sellers who selling internationally to send their products directly from overseas warehouse. Seller can apply for stock-in, and ship their products to designated warehouse after approved. By this time, the item location would be changed to overseas warehouse. Orders would be shipped from overseas warehouse for priority.
In this way, the cost of managing overseas warehouse decreased with customer experience enhanced and store performance improved.
Keep in mind that if the product stock is sold out, the related product would be shifted to out-of-stock model instead of returning back to store model as planned from the first stage before October 2020. Therefore, timely stock-in is very essential to keep sellers products alive online.
