How to do when my international goods are detained by the customs?

Customs clearance are usually required for international goods based on their declared value. What if my goods are detained by the customs?

There are several ways to refer to:

1. For low declared value reason, the customs would release the shipment when customs duty is paid.

2. For incomplete procedure reason, such as when the customs asks for the right to import and you do not have the right yourself, you can ask an eligible third party to handle customs clearance for you.

3. For authorization reason, show your authorization document to the customs, otherwise clearance cannot be proceeded.

4. Apply for return to the customs directly. According to international practice, goods failed to clear customs can return to their senders or hand over to third party trading port to arrange return.
